So i finally got motivated and made a mixtape specifically for Doinmusic, then i realized it was Canada day as well today, so i thought why not make it a Canada day mixtape. Granted there are only three Canadians on the mixtape but whatever.

So since the last two posts were about mixtapes i thought i would end the week on the same note. Now recently Classixx has really been on their game with some amazing remixes and original tunes. So its by no means a far stretch to say that this is by far the best mixtape i have heard this year. I cant quite put my finger on exactly why but for now i will say that its the fact that there is still a variety of music that follows a central flow of the whole mixtape. Plus there is MJ in it, so ya.

Sorry all the other mix tapes i posted so far, your great and all but you just cant compete with this.

Classixx 42:33 Mix

Fellow Toronto peeps Golden Gloves have put out another mixtape for us to enjoy on this fine summer day. Aptly named Sunshine & Lollidrops, it keeps the summer flavour flowing. Whether you are listening to it during work or just relaxing on a deck, it definitely keeps you smiling.

Deadmau5 - Sixteenth hour (Barletta VS Stardust Edit)

Yo guys new video for Yeah Yeah Yeah’s - Heads will roll. Its a pretty well done video in its own right but what really makes it is the werewolf dance sequence. Oh and blood confetti, that was pretty fun too.

I could care less that that Cobrasnake was involved at all in this project, but this song is just way too good. Classixx are really showing their skills this summer which i’m super glad to finally see. First with their remix of Phoenix and now this original with a little help from Jeppe, i really can’t ask for two better summer jams.

And i guess the video is pretty good to, so i will give some recognition to the Cobrasnake.
